Terms of Service

Welcome to Road-E. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use Road-E.

Road-E is operated by Pettipas Marketing, LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Kansas ("Road-E," "we," "us," or "our").

1. Who Can Use Road-E

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract to use Road-E. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. What Road-E Provides

Road-E is a subscription-based platform for working musicians that includes tools for booking management, venue and agent discovery, tour planning, contract generation, electronic press kits (EPKs), a merchandise store builder, client management (CRM), and related features.

We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify subscribers of significant changes.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@road-e.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You may not share your account credentials, create accounts on behalf of others without their consent, or use another person's account.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Road-E offers paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your plan). Pricing is displayed at signup and on your account settings page.

All payments are processed by Stripe. Road-E does not store your full payment card details. Stripe's terms and privacy policy apply to payment processing.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before your renewal date. You can cancel anytime through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access until that date.

5. Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period for new accounts. At the end of the trial, your account will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. We will notify you before any charge is made.

6. Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@road-e.com within 14 days of the charge.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create in Road-E, including EPK materials, contracts, contact lists, and other data ("Your Content").

By uploading content to Road-E, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and transmit Your Content solely to provide the service to you. We do not sell or share Your Content with third parties for their own commercial purposes.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.

8. Acceptable Use

Your use of Road-E is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

9. Third-Party Services and Data

Road-E integrates with third-party services including Google Places, Ticketmaster, and others to provide venue and event data. This data is provided for informational purposes. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of third-party data.

Links to external websites or services are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or reliability of third-party sites.

10. Intellectual Property

Road-E, its logo, features, and platform design are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without our written permission.

The venue and agent directory data compiled by Road-E (excluding data licensed from third parties) is proprietary. You may use it within the platform for your own booking activities but may not scrape, export, or resell it.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using Road-E, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimers

Road-E is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Road-E provides tools to assist with booking and business management but is not a licensed booking agent, talent agency, or legal advisor. Contracts generated by Road-E are templates — you are responsible for reviewing them for your specific situation and jurisdiction. We strongly recommend having any contract reviewed by a qualified attorney.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Road-E shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Road-E shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 CAD.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Road-E and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

15. Termination

You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for other legitimate reasons with reasonable notice where practicable.

Upon termination, your right to access Road-E ends. You may request an export of Your Content before closing your account. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Road-E after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
